After a decade working with João Tabarra in Entertainment & Co., Louro has gone back to his own individual work.
In La pensée et l’erreur, which will be shown in the Espai 13 at the FJM, he plays with a language that is very familiar to us — road and motorway signs. Here, however, they are decontextualised from their traditional role, for instead of guiding us along real roads, they lead us into a special world of concepts and memories. With these unusual signs, the visitor can construct his own route through the labyrinth of ideas proposed by the artist. Louro casts doubt on what is true and what is false, while at the same time reminding us that reality is much more than just a set of objective facts.
