L&#8217;obra d&#8217;art dialoga amb el seu temps com a part d&#8217;un di\u00e0leg amb el Temps. I com a part d&#8217;un di\u00e0leg amb la Hist\u00f2ria. L&#8217;obra d&#8217;art dialoga amb la successi\u00f3 de presents que \u00e9s la Hist\u00f2ria. I l&#8217;obra d&#8217;art dialoga amb les hist\u00f2ries i amb els presents simultanis dels subjectes que la contemplen. L&#8217;obra no \u00e9s un\u00edvoca. L&#8217;artista potser pensava que creava una obra un\u00edvoca; per\u00f2, mentre que l&#8217;artista era contingent, l&#8217;obra el transcendia. L&#8217;obra no \u00e9s mineral, l&#8217;obra \u00e9s un organisme en constant mutaci\u00f3. La seva mutaci\u00f3 no \u00e9s biol\u00f2gica, sin\u00f3 perceptiva i cognitiva. La mutaci\u00f3 \u00e9s invisible i intangible. La mutaci\u00f3 pot ser \u00fanica o m\u00faltiple. El temps informa la mutaci\u00f3, per\u00f2 no hi ha mutacions hist\u00f2riques ni universals. Totes les mutacions s\u00f3n originals i es poden replicar (contestar) i no es poden replicar (reproduir). L&#8217;obra d&#8217;art no \u00e9s concebible sense mutaci\u00f3, perqu\u00e8 l&#8217;obra d&#8217;art \u00e9s inconcebible sense un subjecte de confrontaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>El concepte <em>obra d&#8217;art<\/em> no es pot aplicar a cap obra concreta <em>per se<\/em>, i s\u00ed, en canvi, a l\u2019obra concreta dotada de la p\u00e0tina d\u2019innumerables estrats de mirades invisibles. Una obra d\u2019art no ho \u00e9s sempre i en tot moment. Una obra d&#8217;art ignorada \u00e9s nom\u00e9s una obra d\u2019art en pot\u00e8ncia. La condici\u00f3 <em>sine qua non<\/em> de tota obra d&#8217;art \u00e9s la mutaci\u00f3. Cap obra d&#8217;art pot ser descrita, ja que \u00e9s impossible compilar totes les mutacions que ha experimentat.\u00a0L&#8217;obra d&#8217;art \u00e9s din\u00e0mica, perqu\u00e8 la seva naturalesa rau en la mutaci\u00f3. L\u2019obra d\u2019art no s\u2019adre\u00e7a a tothom, sin\u00f3 a cadasc\u00fa. Cada subjectivitat \u00e9s diversa i irreductible. La mirada, la interrogaci\u00f3, tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s diversa. I \u00e9s in\u00e8dita. L\u2019experi\u00e8ncia de la mirada \u2014l\u2019instant, o l\u2019interval, i el transcurs de la interrogaci\u00f3\u2014 \u00e9s insondable i intransmissible. El singular acarament de l\u2019objecte amb un subjecte constitueix la <em>morfologia<\/em> transit\u00f2ria de l\u2019obra d\u2019art.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;obra d&#8217;art \u00e9s, aix\u00ed, l&#8217;experi\u00e8ncia \u00fanica, irrepetible, alhora infinitament replicable i impossible de replicar, d&#8217;una mutaci\u00f3 subjectiva intransferible.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;obra d&#8217;art no \u00e9s el cos ni les cicatrius del temps impreses o pressentides en el cos, sin\u00f3 la inspecci\u00f3 de les cicatrius, la diagnosi sense proves, sense instruments de precisi\u00f3. \u00c9s l&#8217;examen circumstancial de les ferides recents, encara sense cauteritzar, la inspecci\u00f3 ocular, el reconeixement a ull nu del cos.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019obra que no \u00e9s escrutada \u00e9s un objecte in\u00fatil, perplex.<\/p>\n<p>Vet aqu\u00ed alguns exemples d\u2019aquesta perplexitat (la relaci\u00f3 podria ser infinita, perqu\u00e8 una obra d\u2019art confinada en un magatzem no \u00e9s una obra d\u2019art, perqu\u00e8 una obra d\u2019art en la foscor nocturna del museu no \u00e9s una obra d\u2019art, perqu\u00e8 el manuscrit in\u00e8dit d\u2019un llibre no \u00e9s m\u00e9s que una raima gargotejada per un insomne):<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Els disset caps colossals olmeques trobats al golf de M\u00e8xic, sepultats durant tres mil\u00b7lennis. L\u2019autor es desent\u00e9n de publicar i nega, aix\u00ed, a la creaci\u00f3 el dret elemental a ser admirada, imaginada, criticada, male\u00efda.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Exposici\u00f3 <em>Murals<\/em> a la Fundaci\u00f3 Joan Mir\u00f3. Enterrada en un dels jardins adjacents a la Fundaci\u00f3 Joan Mir\u00f3, l\u2019obra (la pe\u00e7a, el cofre) s&#8217;estar\u00e0 en guaret vint anys. El temps, susp\u00e8s all\u00e0 baix; un ta\u00fct de temps. D\u2019aqu\u00ed a dues d\u00e8cades emergir\u00e0 i ser\u00e0 alguna cosa. Les mirades perplexes dels testimonis de l&#8217;exhumaci\u00f3 s&#8217;emmirallaran en la perplexitat de la cosa, una amalgama d&#8217;objectes d&#8217;una tecnologia desfasada. Objectes neovintage o els components d&#8217;una obra d&#8217;art redescoberta.
