Lluerna: Possible Pasts

Lluerna offers a space for growth in a community context for emerging artists. It facilitates artistic research spaces for individuals who want to participate in it by connecting with other artists and providing meeting spaces and public presentations of projects.

This, the 5th edition of Lluerna establishes a dialogue with the exhibition Our Ghosts Live in the Future by the artist Tuan Andrew Nguyen, winner of the Joan Miró Prize 2023. We are looking for 5 artists who explore the ability of art to instil complexity into discourses, generate historical memory and weave alternative narratives that can help us imagine other possible pasts.

You can find all the information on the subject and conditions in the rules of the call.

Timeline for the 5th edition of Lluerna:

  • Submission of applications: 5 March to 9 April 2024
  • Results of the call: 24 April 2024
  • Activity programme for those selected: 30 April to 3 June 2024
  • Presentation of Lluerna projects in the Auditorium: 8 June 2024
