Josep Lluís Sert’s design for the building already included a ramp between the ground and first floors. The Fundació Joan Miró is keen to ensure all visitors have access to art and culture and offers the following services with this in mind:

  • An accessible reading room with magnifying glasses for partially sighted visitors
  • Guided tours for partially sighted visitors
  • Exhibition tours and children’s shows with sign language interpreters
  • Induction loops at information points, in the auditorium and in audioguides

All the museum’s spaces are accessible to wheelchair users and there is public parking reserved for people with reduced mobility.
