Woman and Bird, in the Parc de Joan Miró, formerly the site of the city slaughterhouse; Woman, in the central courtyard of the Casa de la Ciutat; the ceramic paving in Pla de l’Os, on the Rambla; and the large ceramic mural on the front of Terminal 2 at Barcelona airport, produced with J. Llorens i Artigas.

Miró’s works in public spaces include the Miss Chicago sculpture, Chicago; Figure and Birds, Houston; Project for a Monument, Milan; the ceramic mural on the front of the Palacio de Congresos, Madrid; two ceramic murals, Wall of the Sun and Wall of the Moon, at Unesco headquarters, Paris; and Lovers Playing with Almond Blossom in La Défense, Paris.
