Ten Thousand Possible Shapes

Open workshop for designing two-dimensional patters based on Grid Index, the book by artist and musician Carsten Nicolai.

Grid Index includes close to 300 visual patterns resulting from centuries of research. This material, composed of geometric structures, makes it possible to assemble countless forms that can be useful in design, mathematics, architecture, art and many other areas. These structures have a strong presence in Nicolai's visual and musical work.
