La Mercè 2023. Open day
This year, as in previous years, we are looking forward to celebrating La Mercè 2023 and we at the Fundació Joan Miró invite everyone to join us for an open doors day during which you will be able to visit the Joan Miró Collection, the archive exhibition Il était une petite pie and the exhibition The Earthquake Is Intact, featuring work by Jota Mombaça and Iki Yos Piña Narváez Funes, that is part of the Fixations per Minute programme of exhibitions in the Espai 13.
On the feast day of La Mercè, you will be able to visit the recently refurbished library, where you will have the opportunity to view a selection of catalogues, collections of poetry and books by Joan Miró. The library is a space given over to research and scholarship that will be open from 24 September to everyone interested in Miró's work and its holdings of books and documents.
The cafeteria, gift shop and book shop will be open throughout the day.
