‘Message d’ami’: A collective correspondence action. Barcelona Dibuixa 2025

What defines great friendships? Are they soft? Spiky? Are they a specific colour? Have you ever made a friend without speaking? How do you know who your best friends are?
Taking Joan Miró's 1961 painting Message d'ami (Message from a Friend) as a starting point, a work that he painted in response to a letter from his friend Alexander Calder, the workshop involves collective research on the essence of friendship. Through the story of a bond, we will create unwritten letters made of gestures, textures and materials. A visual and sensory correspondence that uses play and creativity to explore what makes a friendship unique.
An activity that is part of the Barcelona Dibuixa 2025 festival.
