The Fundació Joan Miró takes parts in the International Museum Day 2026 celebrations, organised by the International Council of Museums (ICOM), with an open day at the museum:
- Joan Miró. Cercles, the collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings and graphic works.
- All temporary exhibitions currently on view.
- Espai 13, dedicated to contemporary artistic creation.
- The terraces and the Cypress Garden, an outdoor space open to the public for the first time.
You can reach the Fundació Joan Miró on foot from several different points in the city (the neighbourhood of Poble-sec, Paral·lel, Plaça d'Espanya, among others) and discover its natural surroundings. Walking to the Fundació is a way of enjoying the pairing of art and nature right from the outset.
The Gift shop, Bookshop and Restaurant will be open.
