How to Build a Cave Inside a Museum

Workshop

How can an archive be transformed into a place to inhabit? In this activity, we will turn documents, images, and memories from the museum into a collective cave: a space for refuge, play, and imagination.

Inspired by a Gaston Lagaffe comic strip, the proposal is based on a simple yet powerful idea: an archive is not just a repository of documents, but a living place filled with stories, shapes, and possibilities.

Together with artist Dani Montlleó, we will explore materials connected to the history of the Fundació Joan Miró and transform them into a participatory experience that invites us to view the museum from another perspective: from the inside, from memory, and from matter itself.
