Joan Miró Collection

The Folder of Obsessions

Storytelling

Some people collect stones. Others collect words, moments, shadows, shades of green or animal silhouettes. For years, Joan Miró kept clippings, drawings and circular images in a folder.

Through a series of stories, we will meet characters who collected invisible or extraordinary things: a rat that kept sunbeams, a girl who collected words, a man who learned to preserve memories... And we will learn to do it ourselves too.

Activity curated by Alvie Gual-Cibeira. AL-V, or Alvie Gual-Cibeira, born in Barcelona, is a Galician musical artist. Trained as an actor, they work as a cultural agent and casting manager. Their projects move between the performing and musical arts. They created the duo Monsieur Cactus with Álex Marteen, founded the queer collective Futuroa, and, under their alter ego Licorca Fey, organized drag shows. A presenter of music radio and television, they began releasing solo work in 2018 with production by alvaro.audio. In 2021, they released their first solo album as AL-V.
