Reincarnations is a reenactment programme that invites us to revisit the fifty-year history of Fundació Miró through gesture and performativity.
A reenactment is never a faithful reproduction of past events; it is rather a process of translation-where part of the information is inevitably transformed on its way back into the body. We invoke the term in its most mediumistic sense: as a tradition in which a body channels gestures that do not belong to it, and also as one in which an energy is reincarnated in a new body-hosted by someone who resonates on a similar frequency.
