British Graphic Work

The exhibition British Graphic Work will open at the Fundació Joan Miró on 18 September.

Henry Moore, Graham Sutherland, Bridget Riley, David Hockney and Richard Hamilton are some of the internationally renowned British artists whose work will be on display. Prints by newer generations of artists, such as Bob Chaplin, Michael Harrison and Martin Wave, complete the exhibition, which brings together around 100 works in total.

Featuring the main printmaking techniques – intaglio, planography, silkscreen and relief engraving – the exhibition demonstrates the high level of experimentation and quality achieved by British artists in the field of printmaking, whether working in strictly traditional techniques or others such as photography, or else using materials such as plastic, plywood or aluminium.

The exhibition will run until 26 October.
