Ghislaine Leung conducts her practice according to a series of scores that define the very nature of each work. These scores respond to the conditions of the structures in which they are exhibited, thereby revealing their - our - own limitations within the system.
By adhering to the parameters that govern the very functioning of the Fundació Joan Miró, Leung's exhibition focuses on mutual dependence, examining the vulnerability of the structures and our movement through them.

Vive y trabaja en Londres. Partiendo de un enfoque rigurosamente conceptual pero al mismo tiempo profundamente personal, Leung se centra en los aspectos reproductivos de la labor institucional que moldean de forma decisiva el resultado de la producción y recepción artística pero que normalmente no son visibles. Su trabajo se sirve de instrucciones por puntos para redistribuir radicalmente y componer los términos de la producción artística. Para Leung, las limitaciones -percibidas como personales, institucionales, estructurales o sistémicas de los parámetros del sector- entran en juego como un medio para «instituir» de forma diferente.
