The Board of Trustees of the Fundació Joan Miró announces a selection process for the position of General Manager of the institution.
The Board of Trustees of the Fundació Joan Miró has approved the terms and conditions of the selection process for the position of General Manager of the institution. The period for application submissions begins on 8 September 2021 and will close on 23 September 2021. The person who assumes this management position will direct the administration of the Fundació by: implementing the agreements reached by the Board of Trustees; collaborating with the institution’s governing body in setting out and developing its programmes and activities; taking charge of its economic, human resources and asset management; and recruitment for the Fundació Joan Miró.
The selection committee comprises members of the Board of Trustees (including members of the Board of Trustees proposed by the Catalan Government, Barcelona City Council and the Spanish Ministry of Culture), the Director of the Foundation and an external expert will evaluate the applications. Candidates may be called in for a personal interview to verify and elaborate upon the information in their curriculum vitae and letter of intent, as well as to focus on certain specific points related to their professional skills. The committee will decide the selected candidate.
