Tips for visiting the museum

Before your visit

To choose the day you want to visit, you can check the Fundació's website, where you will see some of the works from the Joan Miró collection and find out what temporary exhibitions and activities we are offering.

We recommend several paths that you can take in Montjuïc park and enjoy walking to the Fundació.

We suggest that you purchase your tickets online and download them onto your cell phone.

During your visit

You can download the free audio guide. You can also download the accessible guide.

You can also download the museum floor plan.

Throughout the museum, you will find other resources and information for your individual or family visit.

Joan Miró and Josep Lluís Sert designed an itinerary with places for visitors to stop and rest, like the patios with views of the park or the city. Use these places to relax before going back to looking at the works of art.

The museum staff can answer any questions you may have.

You can take a break at the café to restore your energy, and don't forget to stop by the shop or the book store if you want to pick up a reminder of your visit.
