Along the Sound Path

The Along the Sound Path programme includes a listening session for children aged between 6 and 12, a conversation with the film director Lucrecia Martel led by the artist Alex Reynolds, a screening of Martel's latest film, Our Land, which is her first documentary, and finally, a DJ set by the Jokkoo Collective + Adrasha. The programme as a whole lies at the junction between ecology, colonialism and sound.

5 to 7pm - listening session/workshop led by Maguette Dieng and edu r. pineda
8.30 pm - Book signing of A Common Destiny by Martel, followed by the opening of the bar and drinks service
9 pm – Open-air cinema: Nuestra Tierra, by Lucrecia Martel
11 pm - DJ set by Jokkoo Collective and Adrasha

Along the Sound Path serves as a finale for two extensive programming tours that accompanied the exhibition by Kapwani Kiwanga, the winner of the most recent Joan Miró Prize. The first was the Soil, Dust, Fear, Rhythm programme, which brought together artists, poets, architects, geographers and scientists to observe the marks that extractivism has left on ecology and to consider what exorcisms are still possible in the face of these forms of violence. The second was an educational programme that included A Refuge That Suits Us (a project with the Pau Sans school) and Your Voice Will Protect You (a mediation space set up at the Fundació Miró).
